AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, CHANGING,
AMENDLNG AND MODIFYING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS INCORPORATED INTO ORDINANCE NUMBER 5880, BY
REZONING CERTAIN SPECIFICALLY DESCRIBED LAND FROM A DISTRICT
"A-2" SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE CLASSIFICATION TO A DISTRICT "C"
MULTIPLE FAMILY CLASSIFICATION.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, was petitioned on September 30, 1964, in writing to
rezone certain land from its present District "A-2" Classificati n
to a District "C" Classification, and
WHEREAS, on October 5, 1964, the City Council did refer
the petition to the City Planning and Zoning Commission for
its consideration, study and recommendation, and
WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Commission, after
hearing, study and consideration, by its report dated
October 19, 1964, and received and read by the City Council on
November 9, 1964, recommended that the land mentioned in the

petition and described in this ordinance, should not be
rezoned as petitioned, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson,
® Missouri, by and through its City Clerk has caused a notice of
hearing for the purpose of rezoning to be published three
consecutive days in a newspaper of general circulation within
the City of Jefferson, Missouri, the last day of publication
having been more than fifteen days preceding the date of the
hearing by the City Council, wherein such notice of rezoning
all interested parties were requested to qppear before the
City Council at the time and place specified therein for the
purpose cf attending a public hearing and expressing their
views in support of or in opposition to the recommendation of
Othe Planning and Zoning Commission, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, has conducted said hearing and heard the views
of all persons expressing an interest in the rezoning of the
land hereinafter described.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF JEFFEMON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 . The zoning map of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, as incorporated into Ordinance Number 5880 of the
city, as amended, is hereby changed, amended and modified to
reflect the rezoning of the following-described land from
"A-2" Single Family Residence District to "C" Multiple
Family District and the following-described land is, and it is
hereby accordingly, rezoned:
"Lot 3 in Block 15 of Renn Addition
in the City of Jefferson, Missouri ."
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be
in force from and after its passage and approval.
