ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CI'T'Y OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, CHANGING,
AMENDING AND MODIFYING THE ZONrNG MAP OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON
MISSOURI, AS INCORPORATED INTO ORDINANCE NUMBER 5880, BY
REZONING CERTAIN SPECIFECALLY DESCRIBED LAND FROM A DISTRICT
"A-2" SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE CLASSIFICATION TO A DISTRICT "F"
HIGHWAY COMMERCIAL CLASSIFICATION.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, was petitioned in writing on September 30, 1964
to rezone land hereinafter described from its present
District "A-2" Classification to a District "F" Classification,
and
WHEREAS, on October 5, 1964 the City Council referred
the petition to the City Planning & Zoning Commission for
its consideration and recommendation, and
WHEREAS, the Commission, after hearing, study and con-
sideration, by its report dated October 19, 1964 and received
and read by the City Council on November 91 19641 recommended
that the land as described in the petition and hereinafter
described in this ordinance, should not be rezoned, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, by and through its City Clerk has caused a notice
of hearing to be published three consecutive days 11 a
newspaper of general circulation within the City of Jefferson
Missouri, the last day of publication having been more than
fifteen days preceding the date of the hearing by the City
Council, wherein such notice of rezoning all interested parties
were requested to appear before the City Council at the time
and place specified therein for the purpose of attending a
public hearing and expressing their views in support of or in
opposition to the recommendation of the Planning and Zoning
Commission, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, has conducted said hearing and heard the views
of all persons expressing an interest in the rezoning of the
land hereinafter described.

® NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF JEFFERSON, MLSSOURL, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The zoning map of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, as incorporated into Ordinance Number 5880 of the
city, as amended, is hereby changed, amended and modified to
reflect the rezoning of the following-described land from
"A-2" Single Family Residence District to "F" Highway
Commercial District and the following-described land is,
and it is hereby accordingly, rezoned:
"Lots 12 through 16 of Block 4 'of St. Louis
Heights in Gordon & Church's Subdivision of
Outlot No. 62 in the City of Jefferson, Missouri."
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage and approval.
