BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Whereas it was heretofore found and declared by the City Council, by its Resolution, adopted October 19, 1964, necessary to grade, pave with asphaltic concrete, where necessary, and curb and gutter, with Portland Cement Concrete the roadway of Greenberry Road from the end of the existing curbing to the north curb line of Dixon Drive, and it appears to the City Council that said resolution has been duly published according to the law for seven (7 ) consecutive insertions, in the Jefferson City Post 'tribune, a daily newspaper, printed and published in the City of Jefferson, Missouri. After hearing those who desired to be heard on the matter concerning the improvement of said street, and after finding, that said Greenberry road between the end of the existing curbing and the northerly curb line of Dixon Drive is less than 1200 feet in length and is between and connecting two paved streets, the City of Jefferson, Iissouri, still finds the improvement necessary to be done. SECTION 2. 'That the said roadway of Greenberry Road from the end of the existing curbing to the northerly curb line of Dixon Drive be graded, curbed. and guttered with Portland Cement Concrete, and paved with asphaltic concrete, where necessary, in accordance with the plans and specifications submitted by the Director of Public dorks and filed in the office of the City Clerk and that the cost of the work aforesaid, in an amount not to exceed y`r3. 50 per front foot, shall be charged and levied against the real estate abutting and fronting on said contemplated improvement and special tax bills shall be issued therefor, as provided in Section 827 of the Revised Ordinances of the City of Jefferson, 1956, and the revised statutes of the State of Missouri, 1959, and amendments thereto, and the remaining cost, if any, of said work shall be paid for out of the general revenue funds of the City. I _2 SECTION 3. The Director of Public Works is hereby instructed to advertise the bids for this improvement. SECTION 4.
