AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, REPEALING
PARAGRAPH 2 OF SECTION 1 OF ORDINANCE NUMBER 7527, FIXING
THE SALARY AND EXPENSE ACCOUNT OF THE CITY MARSHAL, AND
ENACTING A NEW PROVISION RELATING TO THE SAME SUBJECT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Paragraph 2 of Section 1 of Ordinance
Number 7527 of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, fixing the
salary and expense account of the City Marshal be, and the
same is hereby repealed.
Section 2. There is hereby enacted a new provision,
-to be known as Paragraph 2 of Section 1 of Ordinance Number
7527 of the city, which shall read in words and figures as
follows:
"Ordinance No. 7527
Section 1 . Compensation of Elective Officials.
(2) The City Marshal shall receive the
sum of $600.00 per month as salary,
and, in addition thereto, shall receive
$70 .00 per month as an expense account."
Section 3 . This ordinance shall take effect, after its
passage and approval, on the 20th day of April, 1965.
