AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, CHANGING,
AMENDING AND MODIFYING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS INCORPORATED INTO ORDINANCE NUMBER 5880, BY
REZONING CERTAIN SPECIFICALLY DESCRIBED LAND FROM A DISTRICT
"A-2" SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE CLASSIFICATION TO A DISTRICT "F"
HIGHWAY COMMERCIAL CLASSIFICATION.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri,
was petitioned in writing to rezone land hereinafter described
from its present District "A-2" Classification to a District
"F" Classification, and
WHEREAS, the City Council did refer the petition to the

City Planning and Zoning Commission for consideration, study and
recommendation, and
WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Commission, after
study and consideration, by its reports dated February 12,
1965, recommended that the land hereinafter described should be
rezoned as petitioned, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri ,
by and through its City Clerk has caused a notice of hearing for
the purpose of rezoning to be published three consecutive
days in a newspaper of general circulation within the City of

Jefferson, Missouri, the last day of publication having been
more than fifteen days preceding the date of the hearing by
the City Council, wherein such notice of rezoning all interested.
parties were requested to appear before the City Council at the

,f,, time and place specified therein for the purpose of attending
a public hearing and expressing their views in support of or in
opposition to the recommendation of the Planning and Zoning
Commission, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, has conducted said hearing and heard the views of
all persons expressing an interest in the rezoning of the
land hereinafter described.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS :
® Section 1. The zoning map of the City of Jefferson, Missouri,
as incorporated into Ordinance Number 5880, as amended, of
said city, is hereby changed, amended and modified to reflect
the rezoning of all that portion of the following-described
property presently zoned in District "A-2" Single Family
Residence Classification from its present District "A-2" Single
Family Residence Classification to a District "F" Highway
Commercial Classification, and that portion of the following-
described property is, and it is hereby, rezoned accordingly:
Part of Lot 2 of Dietz Subdivision, as per plat
of record in Plat Book 11 Page 104, Cole County
Recorder's Office, more particularly described as:
A strip of land 200 feet of even width lying south
of and .immediately adjacent to the south right
of way line of U. S. Hwy. 50 East (Business Route)
extendng 290 feet along said highway in an easterly
direction from the intersection of the centerline of
Boggs Creek with the south right of way line of
said highway to the intersection of said right of
way line with the westerly right of way line of an
unnamed street.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage and approval.
