BILL NO. .: INTRODUCED BY COUNCILMEN: HAWES ORDINANCE NO. � AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, REGULATING THE OPERATION OF MOTOR VEHICLES ON THE ROADWAYS OF THE CITY AND PROVIDING A PENALTY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Stop signs. The driver of a vehicle in motion on the first named roadway in the following numbered paragraph shall bring the vehicle to a full and complete stop before entering the nearest crosswalk at the inter- section with the last named roadway in the same numbered paragraph and thereafter proceed cautiously, yielding the right of way to any pedestrian crossing a roadway at the intersection within any marked or unmarked cross- walk or to any vehicle, not required to stop, which is either within the intersection or approaching so closely thereto as to constitute an immediate hazard. Stop on: (5) Adams Street before entering Case Street. Section 2. Penalty. Any person violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction there( f shall be fined not more than $100.00 or be imprisoned in jail for not more than 90 days, or be punished both by such fine and imprisonment. Section 3. Effective date. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage and approval. No individual, partnership or corporation shall construct, or engage in the operation of, a Community Antenna Television and Wired Television System within the limits of the City of Jefferson, without first obtaining permission from the City Council to do so at a regularly scheduled meeting of the Council,which shall require, among other requirements, a showingL that such construction and operation will be with due regard to public safety and convenience, by complying with the clearance and construction standards for communication circuits of the National Electric Safety Code as then in effect. y
