ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR OF THE CITY TO ACCEPT IN BEHALF OF THE CITY A WARRANTY
DEED EXECUTED BY GERTRUDE STEIN, HELEN BAIRD AND WALTER BAIRD,
HUSBAND AND WIFE, TO LAND IN THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI
AND AUTHORIZING PAYMENT TO THE GRANTORS OF TWO HUNDRED ($200.00)
DOLLARS THEREFOR.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Mayor of the City is hereby authorized to
® accept on behalf of the city a warranty deed executed by Gertrude
Stein, Helen Baird and Walter Baird, her husband, to land in
the city and upon delivery thereof make payment to the grantors
of the sum of Two Hundred ($200 .00) Dollars.
Section 2. Said warranty deed shall read in words and
figures as follows:
