AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, REGULATING THE
OPERATION OF MOTOR VEHICLES ON THE ROADWAYS OF THIS CITY AND
PROVIDING A PENALTY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI , AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. One Way Street. Russell Street, between its
intersections with Monroe Street and Jackson Street, is hereby
designated a one-way street fox' eastbound traffic only.
Section 2. Misdemeanor. It shall be unlawful for the

operator of a motor vehicle to operate the same in a westerly
direction on Russell Street at any point between the intersection
of Russell Street with Monroe Street and the intersection of
Russell Street with Jackson Street.
Section 3. Penalty. Any person violating any of the terms
of Section 2 of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a
misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof, shall be fined not
more than $100.00 or be imprisoned not more than 90 days, or
be punished by both such fine and imprisonment.
Section 4. Effective Date. This ordinance shall take effect
and be in force from and after its passage and approval.
