AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, APPROVING AND
ACCEPTING THE PLAT OF ORCHARD HEIGHTS SUBDIVISION ESTABLISHED BY
WAVERLY G. IRWIN AND ERTIE M. IRWIN AS OWNERS THEREOF, AND REPEALING
ORDINANCE NUMBER 7589 OF THE CITY REIATING TO THE SAME SUBJECT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Waverly G, Irwin and Ertie M. Irwin, owners of the real
estate hereinafter described and situated in Jefferson City, Missouri, having
submitted for the approval of the Council a plat of said real estate, shown on
the attached plat, described as follows:
"Part of the northeast quarter of the southwest
quarter of Section 16, Township 44 North, Range
11 west, more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point where the quarter-quarter
section line intersects the southerly right of way
line of old U. S. Highway No. 50 and 63; thence
north 810 30' east along and with said right of
way line, 224. 64 feet; thence south 50 22' east,
196. 0 feet; thence south 60 42' east, 103. 85 feet;
thence south 50 22' east, 60. 0 feet, thence south
810 30' west, 227. 03 feet to the quarter-quarter
section line; thence north 50 22' west along the
quarter-quarter section line 3 60. 0 feet to the point
of beginning, containing 1.9 acres, more or less. "
all as shown on the attached plat and made a part of this ordinance, all of
which land described on said plat is within the corporate limits of the City
of Jefferson, Missouri, and it appearing that said plat has been duly and
properly signed and accepted by the owners of said subdivision, that all
taxes on the land described therein have been paid, and that in all respects
the requirements of Chapter 445 RSMo. 1959 entitled "Plats" and the
ordinance of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, have been fully complied with
by the owners of said Subdivision, now, therefore:
The plat of said Waverly G. Irwin and Ertie M. Irwin, known and
referred to as Orchard Heights Subdivision, lying and being within the
corporate limits of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, as shown by the Plat
attached hereto and made a part of this ordinance, is hereby accepted and
approved by the City Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, and the
Mayor of said City, and the City Clerk of said City, after passage and
approval of this ordinance, is hereby directed to endorse acceptance and
approval of said Plat thereon, and to certify to the approval of same under
the seal of the City of Jefferson, Missouri.
Section 2. Ordinance Number 7589 of the City of Jefferson, Missouri,
passed January 4, 1965 and approved January 5, 1965, relating to the
same subject be, and the same is hereby, repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its passage and approval.
