AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, CHANGING, AMENDING AND MODI-
FYING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS INCORPORATED INTO
ORDINANCE NUMBER 5880, BY REZONING CERTAIN SPECIFICALLY DESCRIBED LAND FROM
DISTRICT "B" TWO FAMILY RESIDENCE CLASSIFICATION TO DISTRICT "C" MULTIPLE
FAMILY kESIDENCE CLASSIFICATION. t
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, was
petitioned in writing to rezone land from District "B" Two Classification to
a District "C" Classification, and
WHEREAS, the City Council referred the petition to the City Planning
and Zoning Commission for its consideration, study and recommendation, and
WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Commission, after hearing, study
and consideration, by its report to the City Council of June 4, 1965, recom-
mended that the petition should be granted and the property rezoned as
petitioned, and
WHEREAS, the City of Jefferson, Missouri has held a public hearing on
the 12th day of July, 1965 to hear the views of all interested persons on the
issue of whether the recommendation of the Planning and Zoning Commission
should be approved or rejected, after first giving due notice, in a newspaper
or general circulation within the city more than fifteen days prior to the
date of the hearing, of the subject matter, time and place of the hearing,
and inviting all interested persons to appear at the hearing and be heard,
and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, has
conducted the hearing and, after hearing the views of all persons expressing
themselves on the matter and considering the recommendation of the Planning
and Zoning Commission, has concluded that it would be in the public interest
of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, to approve the recommendation of the
Planning and Zoning Commission and rezone the following described land as
petitioned, now therefore:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The zoning map of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, as
incorporated into Ordinance Number 5880, as amended, of said city, is here-
by changed, amended and modified to reflect the rezoning of the following-
described property from District "B" Two Family Residence Classification to
a District "C" Multiple Family Residence Classification, and the following-
described property is, and it is hereby, rezoned accordingly:
"Commencing at the intersection of the southerly line of outlot
numbered eleven on the plat of the City of Jefferson with the
easterly line of Oak Street and running thence southwardly
along the easterly line of Oak Street four hundred and ninety-
seven feet to a stake; thence on a line eastwardly parallel
to the southerly line of said outlot numbered eleven two
hundred and ninety-seven and forty-six hundredths feet to
a stake, thence northwardly on a line parallel to the easterly
line of Oak Street four hundred and ninety-seven feet to
the southerly line of said outlot numbered eleven; thence
westwardly along the southerly line of said outlot numbered
eleven to the place of beginning, embracing a part of Outlot
Number* 78."

Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and
after its passage and approval.
