ORDINANCE NO. 7L
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, CHANGING,
AMENDING AND MODIFYING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS INCORPORATED INTO ORDINANCE NUMBER 5880, BY
REZONING CERTAIN SPECIFICALLY DESCRIBED LAND FROM A DISTRICT
"A-2" SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE CLASSIFICATION TO DISTRICT "D"
MULTIPLE DWELLING CLASSIFICATION.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, was petitioned in writing to rezone land hereinafter
described from its present District "A-2" Classification to
District "D" Classification, and
WHEREAS, the City Council referred the petition to the
City Planning & Zoning Commission for its consideration and
recommendation, and
WHEREAS, the Commission, after hearing, study and con-
sideration, by its report dated April 12, 1965, recommended
that the land described in the petition and hereinafter de-
scribed in this ordinance, should be rezoned, and
WHEREAS, the .City Council of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, through its Clerk has caused a notice of hearing to
be published three consecutive days in a newspaper of general
circulation within the City of Jefferson, Missouri, the last
day of publication having been more than fifteen days preceding
the date of the hearing by the City Council, wherein all
interested parties were invited to appear before the Council
at the time and place specified therein and express their
views in support of or in opposition to the recommendation of
the Planning & Zoning Commission, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, has conducted said hearing and heard the views of
all persons expressing an interest in the rezoning of the
land hereinafter described on this 17th day of May, 1965,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITE OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The zoning map of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, as incorporated into Ordinance Number 5880 of the
city, as amended, is hereby changed, amended and modified to
reflect the rezoning of the following-described land from
"A-2" Single Family Residence District to a "D" Multiple
Family Residence District and the following-described land is,
and it is hereby accordingly, rezoned:
"All of Lots 27 through 38 and part
of Lots 26 and 39 of the W. A. Beck
Addition to the City of Jefferson, Missouri,
as per plat of record in Plat Book 5 at
® Page 23, Cole County Recorder's Office."
Section 2 . This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage and approval.
