ORDINANCE NO. 1.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI , ACCEPTING A
DEED TO LAND FOR STREET RIGHT OF WAY PURPOSES AND PROVIDING
FOR THE RECORDATION THEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Mayor of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, ,,'
is hereby authorized and directed to accept, for and in behalf
of the City, a Warranty Deed executed by Harold Leo Thomas and
Juanita W. Thomas, husband and wife, and Alvena Engelbrecht, a
widow, conveying certain described land to the City for public
use as street right of way. r
Section 2. Said deed shall read< n words and figures as

Section 3. Upon delivery of said deed to the Mayor, the
Clerk of the City shall cause the same to be recorded in the
office of the Recorder of Deeds, Cole County, Missouri, paying
such fee as may be required by law.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect and 'be in
force from and after its passage and approval,
