. . AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, VACATING AND
r; DISCONTINUING FOR PUBLIC USE CERTAIN LAND DEEDED TO THE CITY
FOR STREET PURPOSES, AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR
AND THE CLERK OF THE CITY TO EXECUTE ALL INSTRUMENTS REQUIRED
TO CONFIRM IN THE ABUTTING PROPERTY OWNERS THEIR REVERSIONARY
RIGHTS IN THE VACATED RIGHT OF WAY.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS :
s Section 1 . The City Council of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, hereby declares that it is necessary and in the
public interest that the following land be discontinued for
public use as street right of way:
All of the public street right of way between
Outlots Nos . 88 and 91 of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri from the westerly line of Lot No. 27 of
Holiday Hills Estate, a subdivision, as per plat of
record in Plat Book 6 at Pages 86-87, Cole County
Recorder's Office, to the westerly line of
Lafayette Street.
All of the public street right of way known as
Jackson Street from the northerly line of Outlot
No. 91 in the City of Jefferson, Missouri, to the
northerly line of Mesa Avenue as appears on the plat
of Holiday Hills Estates, a subdivision, as per plat
of record in Plat Book 6 at Pages 86-87, Cole County
Recorder's Office.
Section 2 . It is hereby declared that the street right
of way described hereinabove be, and it is hereby, vacated
and forever discontinued as a right of way for street purposes .
Section 3. The statutory right of reversion in the
owners of the abutting property in said vacated right of way,
as is provided by the I.,aws of Missouri, is hereby fully confirmed
and the Mayor and the Clerk of the City are hereby directed to
execute any instrument, for and in behalf of the City, that
may be required by law to confirm in the abutting property
owners, their right of reversion in the right of way hereinabove .
vacated.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage and approval.
