AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI CHANGING,
AMENDING AND MODIFYING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS INCORPORATED INTO ORDINANCE NUMBER 5880, BY
REZONING CERTAIN SPECIFICALLY DESCRIBED LAND FROM DISTRICT "C"
MULTIPLE FAMILY RESIDENCE CLASSIFICATION TO DISTRICT "G"
COMMERCIAL CLASSIFICATION.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri ,
was petitioned in writing to rezone certain land described
from its present District "C" Classification to District "G"
Classification, and
WHEREAS, the City Council referred the petition to the
City Planning & Zoning Commission for its consideration, study
and recommendation, and
WHEREAS, the City Planning & Zoning Commission, after
hearing, study and consideration, recommended that the land
described in its report, and hereinafter described in this
ordinance, shall be rezoned, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, by its City Clerk, has caused a notice of hearing
of rezoning to be published three consecutive days in a
newspaper of general circulation within the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, the last day of publication having been more than
fifteen days preceding the date of the hearing by the City
Council, by which all interested parties were invited to appear
before the City Council at the time and place specified in
the notice and be heard in support of, or in opposition to, the
recommendation of the Planning & Zoning Commission, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, conducted said hearing and heard the views of all
persons expressing an interest in the rezoning of the land
hereinafter described, on October 18, 1965 .

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The zoning map of the City of Jefferson,

Missouri, as incorporated into Ordinance Number 5880, as amended,
of the said city, is hereby changed, amended and modified to
reflect the rezoning of the following-described property from
>' District "C" Multiple Family Residence Classification to
District "G" Commercial Classification, and the following-
described property is, and it is hereby, rezoned accordingly:
"Lots 1 to 14 inclusive of Maus '
Subdivisions of Inlots Nos . 985 and
989 in the City of Jefferson, Missouri ."
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage and 'approval.
