ORDINANCE NO. 7-7/L
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, REGULATING
THE OPERATION OF MOTOR VEHICLES ON THE ROADWAYS OF THE CITY,
AND PROVIDING A PENALTY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 . Through Truck Traffic Prohibited. It shall
be unlawful for the operator of a truck licensed by the State
of Missouri for a gross weight of 6, 000 pounds or more to
operate same on Willow Drive unless the vehicle is moving
from, or destined to a point on, Willow Drive.
Section 2. Penalty. Any person violating any of the
provisions of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a
misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall be fined not
more than $100.00 or be imprisoned in jail for not more than
90 days, or be punished both by such fine and imprisonment.
Section 3 . Effective date. This ordinance shall take
effect and be in force from and after its passage and approval.
