AN ORDINANCE LEVYING AND ASSESSING A SPECIAL TAX BILL AGAINST THE ' LOTS OR TRACTS OF LAND FRONTING OR ABUTTING ON THE ROADWAY OF ! TAYLOR STREET, FROM THE END OF THE EXISTING CONCRETE PAVEMENT AT WATER STREET, NORTHERLY TO THE SOUTHERLY RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE OF HOUGH STREET IN THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, FOR THE IMPROVE- MENT OF SAID ROADWAY BY PAVING WITH PORTLAND CEMENT CONCRETE. i BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI , AS FOLLOWS : SECTION 1. There is hereby levied and assessed at the rate and cost price per front foot as specified in Section 2 of this ' ordinance, against the aggregate lots or tracts of land fronting or abutting on the roadway of Taylor Street, from the end of the ilexisting concrete pavement at Water Street, northerly to the Iisoutherly right-of-way line of Hough Street in the City of Jeffer- lIson, Missouri, for the improvement of the roadway of Taylor Street aforesaid, the sum of $9,672.27 as the total costs of the improve- " ment of said street and the number of front feet fronting or ,; abutting said roadway of said Taylor Street, aforesaid, between f the aforesaid end of the existing concrete pavement at Water Stree it and the southerly right-of-way line of Hough Street, amount to 11900 running feet; the cost price per running foot is $10.7469. 1 '{ �+ SECTION 2. For the purpose of paying said improvement of l� said roadway of Taylor Street, from the end of the existing con- crete pavement at Water Street, northerly to the southerly right- 11of-way line of Hough Street, there is hereby levied and assessed the sum of $10.7469 as a special tax against each front foot of ground fronting or abutting said roadway of Taylor Street between the aforesaid end of the existing concrete pavement at Water Stree and the southerly right-of-way line of Hough Street, and contained yin such lot or piece of ground fronting or abutting said improved roadway of said Taylor Street.
