I I INTRODUCED BY COUNCILMEN: IJ A n k L 4- S'TO r145' ORDINANCE NO., 7 1Re) AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, CHANGING, AMEND- ING AND MODIFYING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS INCORPORATED INTO ORDINANCE NUMBER 5880, BY REZONING CERTAIN SPECIFICALLY DESCRIBED LAND FROM DISTRICT "B" MULTIPLE FAMILY RESIDENCE CLASSIFICATION TO DISTRICT "I" LIGHT INDUSTRIAL CLASSIFICATION. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri was petitioned in writing to rezone certain land described from its present District "B" Classification to District "I" Classification, and WHEREAS, the City Council referred the petition to the City Planning and Zoning Commission for its consideration, study and recommendation, and WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Commission, after hearing, study and consideration, recommended that the land described in its report, and hereinafter described in this ordinance, shall be rezoned, and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, by its City Clerk, has caused a notice of hearing of rezoning to be published three consecutive days in a newspaper of general circulation within the City of Jefferson, Missouri, the last day of publication having been more than fifteen days preceding the date of the hearing by the City Council, by which all interested parties were invited to appear before the City Council at the time and place specified in the notice and be heard in support of, or in opposition to, the recommendation of the Planning and Zoning Commission, and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, conducted said hearing and heard the views of all persons expressing an interest in the rezoning of the land hereinafter described, on May 2, 1966, 12� e r 1 1 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The zoning map of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, as incorporated into Ordinance Number 5880, as amended, of the said city, is hereby changed, amended and modified to reflect the rezoning of the following- described property from District "B" Multiple Family Residence Classification to District "I" Commercial Classification, and the following-described property is, and it is hereby, rezoned accordingly: "A part of Lots 6, 7 and 8 in Block 2, a part of Lot 1 in Block 3, and a part of Hart Street, all in Wolff's Subdivision, as per plat of record in Plat Book 3, at Page 22, Cole County Recorder's Office, more parti- cularly described as: Beginning at the southeasterly corner of Lot 6 of Block 2 of Wolff's Subdivision, thence northerly along the easterly line of said lot 75. 0 feet; thence westerly parallel to McCarty Street, 177. 0 feet; thence turning an angle of 90 degrees to the left, 130, 0 feet; thence turning an angle of 90 degrees to the left 82. 7 feet to the southwesterly corner of Lot 8, Block 2, of said subdivision; thence easterly along and with the southerly line of Lots 8, 7 and 6 of Block 2 of Wolff's Subdivision 120. 0 feet, `;. to the point of beginning.
