AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI REPEALING
SECTION 2 OF ORDINANCE NUMBER 7650 PRESCRIBING, THE NUMBER
OF PERSONNEL IN THE POLICE DEPARTMENT AND SECTION 3 OF
ORDINANCE NUMBER 7651 OF THE CITY PRESCRIBING THE NUMBER
OF PERSONNEL IN THE TRAFFIC DIVISION OF THE POLICE DEPARTMENT
AND ENACTING A NEW ORDINANCE RELATING TO THE SAME SUBJECT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Repeal Clause. Section 2 of Ordinance No. 7650 of
the City of Jefferson, Missouri relating to the number of personnel in the
Police Department and Section 3 of Ordinance No. 7651 of the said City
relating to the number of personnel in the Traffic Division of the Police
Department be, and the same are hereby, repealed.
Section 2. Police Department Personnel. The Police Department
of the City shall consist of the Chief of Police, five Captains, one
Lieutenant, seven Sergeants, three Corporals (one of whom shall serve
as the Policewoman Stenographer), twenty-two Policemen, one Police-
woman Clerk Typist and one Parking Meter Attendant Checker.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force as
of July 1, 1966, from and after its passage and approval.
