ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AMENDING
ORDINANCE NUMBER 5880 OF THE CITY, KNOWN AS THE ZONING
ORDINANCE, BY AMENDING PARAGRAPH (4) OF SECTION 1005 RELATING
TO INTENSITY OF USE REGULATIONS.
WHEREAS, by its Report of May 19, 1966, the Planning and Zoning Commissio ,
on the recommendation of the Building Commissioner, recommended that
Paragraph (4) of Section 1005 of the Zoning Ordinance of the city be amended
by deleting the letter "C" in the phrase "C Multiple Dwelling District" and
substituting in lieu thereof the letter "D" so that the phrase, as amended,
would state "D Multiple Dwelling District. "
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson, through its clerk, has
Owl caused a notice of a hearing for the consideration of the recommendation to be
published in a newspaper of general circulation within the city, the last date
of publication of the notice being more than 15 days prior to the date of the
hearing, by which all persons were invited to appear at the time and place
mentioned in the notice of hearing and be heard on the recommendation of the
Commission, and
WHEREAS, the Council, on the 5th day of July, 1966, conducted the hearing
specified in the notice and heard all views expressed by persons present, now
therefore.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Ordinance Number 5880 of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, known
as the Zoning Ordinance be, and the same is hereby, amended by striking the
capital letter "C" in Paragraph 4. of Section 1005 thereof and substituting in
lieu thereof the capital letter "D" so as amended Paragraph 4 of Section 1005 stall
read as follows:
N. Intensity of Use. When a lot is improved with a single family
dwelling, two family dwelling, . or a multiple dwelling, or when
living facilities are erected above other uses, the intensity of use
regulations are the same as those in the "D" Multiple Dwelling
District. "
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its
passage and approval.
