AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AUTHORIZING
THE ACCEPTANCE BY THE CITY OF A QUIT CLAIM DEED TO VARIOUS
TRACTS OF LAND FOR STREET RIGHT OF WAY PURPOSES EXECUTED BY
THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Mayor of the City of Jeffersa, Missouri
is hereby authorized to accept, for and in behalf of the city,
a Quit Claim Deed to various tracts of land for Street Right
of Way Purposes executed by the Housing Authority of the City
of Jefferson, Missouri.
Section 2. Said Quit Claim Deed shall read in words and
figures as follows:

• KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTSt That the HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY
OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, a Municipal Corporation, a corporation organized and
existing under the laws of the State of Missouri, having its principal office
in the City of Jefferson, in the County of Cole and State of Missouri, Party
of the First Part, hereinafter called the Grantor, in consideration of the
sum of One Dollar and other good and valuable consideration, to it paid by
the City of Jefferson,' of the County of Cole and the State of Missouri, Party
of the Second Part, hereinafter called Grantee, the receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged, and by virtue and pursuant to a RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF
COMMISSIONERS of said Grantor, does by these presents, REMISE, RELEASE and
forever QUIT-CLAIM unto said Grantee the following described tracts or parcels
of land, lying, being and situated in the County of Cole and State of Missouri,
to wit:
New East Elm Street Right of Way from Cherry Street to Locust Street in
the City of Jefferson: A strip of land 50 feet wide, the centerline of
which is more particularly described as follows:
Starting at the southwest corner of Inlot 764 in the City of Jefferson,
Missouri; thence north 430-18' east along and with the easterly line of
Cherry Street a distance of 60.0 feet to the point of beginning:
Beginning at this point proceed south 460-42' east, a distance of 96.0
feet; thence along a circular curve to the right, the center of which
lies south 430-18' west a distance of 317.40 feet, a distance of 152.96
feet; thence south 19°-05'-11" east, a distance of 52.44 feet; thence
along a circular curve to the left, the center of which lies north 70°-
54'-49" east, a distance of 428.79 feet, a distance of 323.70 feet;
thence south 620-20'-21" east, a distance of 181.13 feet; thence along a
circular curve to the right, the center of which lies south 270=39'-39"
west, a distance of 961.72 feet; a distance of 278.05 feet; thence along
another circular curve to the right, the center of which lies south 44°-
13'-33" west, a distance of 1036.24 feet, a distance of 120.11 feet; thence
along another circular curve to the right, the center of which lies south
500-52' west, a distance of 512.97 feet, a distance of 225.88 feet; thence
south 130-541-15" each, a distance of 31.70 feet to the intersection with
the westerly Right of Way Line of Locust Street.

right of way line of Myrtle Street in the City of Jefferson] a strip of land
60 wide; the center line of which is more particularly described as

Starting at the north east corner of Lot 28, Block 5 :of the Morris-Edmonds
Subdivision proceed N 890 39' 47" E a distance of 15.0' to the Point of
beginning. Beginning at this point proceed S00 15 ' E a distance of 68.51 ;

S 89 - 35 ' W a distance of 741.14'; a distance of 303.681 ; thence S 23°-
13'-36" W a distance of 132.3; thence along a circular curve to the left

of the vacated Kathryn Avenue right of way.

A strip of land 10' wide abutting the existing easterly right of way lire of
Buena Vista Street beginning at the centerline of the vacated east west
alley running between and parallel to vacated Kathryn Avenue and vacated
Margaret Avenue; northerly 555' to the southerly right of way line of the
east west alley running between and parallel to Edmonds Avenue and the
vacated Ethylene Avenue.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the same with all the rights, immunities, privileges
and appurtenances thereto belonging unto the said party of the second part
and its successors and assigns Forever, so that neither the said grantor
nor its successors or assigns nor any other person or persons claiming
for it or in its name or behalf, shall or will hereafter claim or demand
any right or title to the aforesaid premises or any part thereof; but it and
everyone of them shall be, by these presents, excluded and forever barred.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,
a Municipal Corporation, the said Grantor, has caused these presents to be
signed by its Chairman and attested by its Vice Chairman, and corporate seal

Deed recorded in the office of the Recorder of Deeds, Cole
County, Missouri.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect as of September

OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, a Municipal Corporation, a corporation organised and
existing under the laws of the State of Missouri, having its principal office
in the City of Jefferson, in the County of Cole and State of Missouri, Party
