AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AMENDING ORDINANCE
NUMBER 7816 OF THE CITY FIXING THE SALARIES AND COMPENSATION OF ELECTIVE
AND APPOINTIVE OFFICIALS BY INCREASING THE COMPENSATION OF THE-DEPUTY
COLLECTOR ACCOUNTANT, THE CITY LICENSE INSPECTOR AND CEMETERY CUS-
TODIAN, AND THE POLICE COURT CLERK AND WELFARE WORKER.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 4 of Ordinance Number 7816 of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, fixing the compensation of appointive employees of the City is hereby
amended by striking out the figure $6,000 shown in the 5th employment period of

the Deputy Collector Accountant and substituting in lieu thereof the figure $6,300
and by striking out the figure $5,386 for the 5th employment period of the License
Inspector and Cemetery Custodian and substituting in lieu thereof the figure $5,700,
and by striking out the figure $3,93 0 for the 5th employment period of the Police
Court Clerk and Welfare Worker and substituting in lieu thereof the figure $4, 230,
so as amended, the compensation for the Deputy Collector Accountant, License
Inspector and Cemetery Custodian, and Police Court Clerk and Welfare Worker
shall be as follows:
"Section 4. Compensation of appointive employees. The named appointive
employees of the city shall receive the following compensation for the
performance of their duties:
