AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AMENDING
ORDINANCE NUMBER 7822 OF 'THE CITY RELATING TO THE LICENSING !
AND REGULATION OF MERCHANTS AND OTHER BUSINESSES BY CHANGING
THE AMOUNT OF LICENSE FEE FOR POOL TABLES, BOWLING ALLEYS,
SHOE COBBLER SHOPS, BOTTLING WORKS AND READY-MIX CONCRETE
SUPPLIERS. I
Section 1. Ordinance No. 7822 of the City relating to the licensing I
and regulation of merchants and other businesses is amended concerning the
amount of license fees for pool tables, bowling alleys, shoe cobbler shops,
bottling works and ready-mix concrete suppliers as follows:
(A. ) Subparagraph (j) of Section 1 of Section 20.020 of the ordinance
is amended to read as follows:
"(j) Receipts from either bowling alleys or pool tables in an
amount which, if taxed at the rate of fifty (. 500) cents per $1, 000.00
of receipts, would yield revenue equal to the annual minimum
license fee of $7. 50 per year per bowling alley or per pool table, or
the actual receipts per alley from the use of bowling alleys, or the
actual receipts per pool table from the use of pool tables, whichever
is the lesser. "
(B. ) Subsection 2. of Section 20. 030 of the ordinance is amended by
deleting the words "Shoe Cobbler Shops" in line 18 thereof, thereby eliminating
"Shoe Cobbler Shops" as a business to be taxed under the gross receipts
provision of Section 20. 040 of the ordinance.
(C. ) Subsection 2 of Section 20. 050 of the ordinance is amended by
changing the cost of a license for bowling alleys from $10. 00 per year per alley
to $7. 5.0 per year per alley. {
Aft � (D. ) Subsection 2 of Section 20. 050 of the ordinance is amended by
Ichanging the cost of a license fee for pool tables from $10. 00 per year per
1table to $7. 50 per year per table.

I. (E. ) Subsection 2 of Section 20. 050 of the ordinance is amended by
;adding thereto "Shoe Cobbler Shops" as a business to be licensed thereunder,
land the cost of a license to engage in this city in the business of operating a
11shoe cobbler shop shall be Twenty-Five ($25. 00) Dollars per year.
�j (F. ) Subsection 2 of Section 20.030 is amended by deleting the words
(Bottling Works) in lines six and seven thereof.
(G. ) Subsection 2 of Section 20.030 is amended by deleting the words
(Ready-Mix Concrete Suppliers) in lines sixteen and seventeen thereof.

Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force as of
January 1, 1967 from and after its passage and approval.
