AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI. AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND THE CLERK OF THE CITY TO EXECUTE A WRITTEN CONTRACT WITH
J.;1]AWSON, INC. RELATING TO THE INSTALLATION OF HEATING UNITS IN THE
CITY BUS GARAGE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI
AS FOLLOWS:
Section I. The Mayor and the Clerk of the City are hereby authorized
and directed for and in the name of the City to execute a written contract
with J. Dawson, Inc. , a corporation, relating to the installation of heating
units in the Jefferson City bus garage building.
Section 2. Said contract shall read in words and figures as follows:

CONTRACT
THIS CONTRACT, made and entered into this Qe day of /pea-4RIV
1967, by and between the City of Jefferson, Missouri, a third class city
existing under the laws of the State of Missouri, located in Cole County,
Missouri, hereinafter termed the "Owner", and _ D., W a Jn/ , _

hereinafter termed the "Contractor".
WITNESSETH
1. Contractor agrees to sell and install three unit heaters in the city
bus garage of the Owner in accordance with the plans and specifications
attached hereto for the sum of $1400. 00.
2. Owner shall pay Contractor the sum of $1400. 00 within thirty (30)
days after completion of the work. If performance of the work takes longer
than thirty (30) days Owner shall pay Contractor's estimate submitted by the
30th of each month by the 10th day of the following month.
3. Contractor shall complete the work under this contract within Gc
calendar days from the date of the contract.
4. Owner shall pay to Contractor an additional sum of $ 14
as a contribution to a premium to be paid by the Contractor for a performance
bond to guarantee the performance of this contract. Contractor agrees to pro-
vide Owner with the aforementioned performance bond.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF Vie parties to this agreement have hereunto set
