AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, CREATING A
SCHOOL BUS LOADING ZONE ON THE WEST HALF OF MADISON STREET
BETWEEN THE SOUTH CURB LINE OF MILLER STREET AND A POINT
LOCATED 200 FEET SOUTH OF THE SOUTH CURB OF MILLER STREET
BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 3:00 P. M. AND 4:00 P. M. , ON ANY DAY SCHOOL
IS CONDUCTED AT THE JEFFERSON CITY FRESHMAN HIGH SCHOOL, AND
PROVIDING A PENALTY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. School Bus Loading Zone. There is hereby established a school
bus loading zone on the west half of Madison Street between the south curb line
of Miller Street and a point located 200 feet south of the south curb of Miller
Street between the hours of 3:00 P.M. and 4:00 P. M. on any day that school
is held at the Jefferson City Freshman High School.

SECTION 2. ' Parking Prohibited. It shall be unlawful for the operator of a
motor vehicle, except a school bus transporting students from the Jefferson
City Freshman High School, to permit the same to be parked within the school
bus loading zone created by Section 1 of this Ordinance.
SECTION 3. Penalty. Any person violating any of the provisions of this
ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and be fined not more than
$100.00 for such violation.
SECTION 4. Effective Date. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage and approval.
