AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, REGULATING THE
OPERATION OF MOTOR VEHICLES ON THE ROADWAYS OF THE CITY, AND PRO-
VIDING A PENALTY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Right of way. The operator of a vehicle moving in a south-
westerly direction on Brooks Street when approaching and immediately before
entering the intersection formed by Brooks Street and Industrial Drive shall yield
AM the right of way to a vehicle being operated on Industrial Drive which is either
entering, or approaching so-closely to, said intersection as to constitute an
immediate hazard.
Section 2. ^Penalty. Any person violating any provision of this ordinance
shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall be
fined not more than $100.00 or be imprisoned in jail for not more than 90 days,
or be punished both by such fine and imprisonment.
Section 3 . Effective date. This ordinance shall take effect and be
in force from and after its passage and approval.
