AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI PROHIBITING THE PARKING OF MOTOR
VEHICLES ON THE ROADWAY OF THE CITY.
BE 'IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Parking prohibited. It shall be unlawful for the operator
of a motor vehicle to permit the same to be parked on the north side of Atchison
Street at any point between the intersection of Atchison Street with Locust Street
and with Chestnut Street.
Section 2. It shall be unlawful for the operator of a motor vehicle to
permit the same to be parked at any point on the south side of Atchison Street:
a. Between the intersection of Atchison Street with Clark Avenue
and with Locust Street.
b. Between the extension of the west curb line of Locust Street
and a point 370 feet west of the extension of the west curb
of Locust Street.
c. Between Chestnut Street and a point ,W feet east of the east
curb of Chestnut Street.
Section 3. Penalty. Any one violating any of the terms of this ordinance
shall be deemed 'guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall .be fined
not more than $100.00.

Section 4. Effective Date. This ordinance shall take effect and 'be in
force from and after .its passage and approval.
