AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AUTHORIZING THE
MAYC R AND CLERK TO EXECUTE A WRITTEN AGRICULTURAL LEASE, FOR AND
IN BEHALF OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, WITH NORMAN BAUMHOER,
AS LESSEE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Mayor and Clerk of the City are hereby authorized,
for and in behalf of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, to execute a written
agricultural lease with Norman Baumhoer as lessee.
Section 2. Said lease shall read in words and figures as follows:

and after its passage and approval.

AGRICULTURAL LEASE
This lease agreement executed this �day of
1967, by and between the City of Jefferson, Missouri, herein termed Lessor,
and Norman Baumhoer of the County of �'�----' State of Missouri,
herein termed Lessee.
WITNESSETH:
1. The Lessor does hereby lease unto the Lessee the following
described property situated in the County of Callaway, State of Missouri,
to-wit:
1112.5 acres of land generally lying between the
Jefferson City Airport Terminal building and
Missouri Highway No. 94. "
for a period of three years beginning on September 1, 1967 and ending on
August 31, 1970.
2. In consideration of the lease of the above described premises the
Lessee hereby agrees to pay Lessor a rental of $20 an acre per year (amounting
to $250.00 per year) during the term of this lease. Said annual rental of $250. 00
shall be paid on or before the 1st day of January during each year of the three
year term.
3. It is further agreed and understood by the Lessee that he will only
sow oats, wheat and other small grains and such crops on the above described
premises which may be authorized by the director of public works.
4. It is further expressly agreed that in the event of total or partial
destruction of any crops on the above described land by flood, the Lessor
shall waive its right to demand payment of the rental for that portion of the
acreage so flooded.
5. It is further expressly understood and agreed that the Lessee
shall neither sublet nor assign any portion of the premises to any other person
without the consent of the Lessor in writing first having been obtained.
6. It is further expressly agreed that the Lessee shall keep the
leased premises in a clean and sightly condition and manner.
7. It is further agreed that this lease shall continue in force and
effect for the entire three year term provided that Lessee may terminate the
Tease by giving Lessor at least 60 days notice in writing of its intention to
do so p rior to January 1 of the next succeeding year.
IN 'WITNESS 'WHEREOF, the parties have caused this lease to be
signed the day and year first above written.
