AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
AND CLERK OF THE CITY TO EXECUTE IN BEHALF OF THE CITY AN AGREEMENT
WITH THE CONSULTING ENGINEERING FIRM OF HORNER AND SHIFRIN, ST. LOUIS,
MISSOURI, MODIFYING A PREVIOUS AGREEMENT DATED FEBRUARY 5, 1962 AS
THEREAFTER MODIFIED BY A SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT DATED APRIL 21, 1964,
SAID ORIGINAL AGREEMENT AND SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT RELATING TO
DESCRIBED PROFESSIONAL SERVICES TO BE FURNISHED BY HORNER AND SHIFRIN
TO THE CITY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Mayor and Clerk of the City are hereby authorized
and directed, in behalf of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, to execute
an agreement with the Consulting Engineering Firm of Horner and Shifrin,
St. Louis, Missouri, which will modify an original agreement previously
entered into with said firm on February 5, 1962 which original agreement
was thereafter supplemented by a further agreement of April 21, 1964.
The original agreement and supplemental agreement referred to above
related to described professional services to be furnished by Horner
and Shifrin to the city in connection with the city's sewer improvement
program.
Section 2. The agreement, modifying the original agreement of
February 5, 1962 as supplemented by the further agreement of April 21,
1964, shall read in words and figures as follows:

Section 3. Upon the execution of the aforementioned agreement
a fully executed copy thereof and a copy of this Ordinance shall be
mailed by the City Clerk to the Firm of Horner and Shifrin, Consulting
Engineers, St. Louis, Missouri.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force as
of the 1st day of May, 1967 from and after its passage and approval.
