AN ORDINANCE AMENDING MOAB MUNICIPAL CODE
SECTION 17.06.020 (46).
WHEREAS, the City Council, on the recommendation of the Moab City
Planning Commission deems that it is necessary to amend the Moab Municipal Code
with respect to the definition of a legal parking space as set forth in Moab Municipal
Code 17.06.020 (46) Definitions:
NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDAINED AS FOLLOWS:
17.06.020 (46)Definitions. "Parking space" means a space within a building or
parking area, exclusive of driveways, ramps, columns, office and working area, for the
parking of a motor vehicle, not less than +weft,. eighteen and one-half feet in length and
not less than eight -gel �--�erttits nine feet in width.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Moab in
open session this 26 t flay of S e p t s 1995, This Ordinance shall take effect
immediately upon passage.
