ORDINANCE NO. 3_
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, REPEALING
ORDINANCE NUMBER 7817 OF THE CITY PRESCRIBING THE NUMBER OF
PERSONNEL IN THE CITY POLICE DEPARTMENT AND ENACTING A NEW
ORDINANCE RELATING TO THE SAME SUBJECT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Police Department Personnel. The Police
Department of the City shall consist of the Chief of Police,
five Captains, one Lieutenant-, seven Sergeants, three Corporals
( one of whom shall serve as the policewoman-stenographer) ,
twenty five Policemen, one Policewoman Clerk-Typist, and one
Parking Meter Checker.
Section 2. Repeal Clause. Ordinance Number 781.7 of the
City of Jefferson, Missouri, relating to the number of per-
sonnel in the city police department be, and the same is
hereby, repealed.
Section 3. Effective Date. This ordinance shall take
effect and be in force as of January 1, 1968 from and after
