AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, REGULATING THE OPERATION
OF MOTOR VEHICLES ON THE ROADWAYS OF THE CITY AND PROVIDING A PENALTY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Right of Way. A person operating a motor vehicle on
Orchard Lane shall yield the right of way to a vehicle being operated on
Belair Drive which is entering or approaching so closely to the inter-
section of said two streets as to constitute an immediate hazard.
Section 2. Right of Way. A person operating a motor vehicle on
Royal Air Drive shall yield the right of way to a vehicle being operated
on Belair Drive which is entering or approaching so closely to the inter-
section of said two streets as to constitute an immediate hazard.
Section 3. Right of Way. A person operating a motor vehicle on
Southern Air Drive shall yield the right of way to a vehicle being operated
on Belair Drive which is entering or approaching so closely to the s.nter-.
section of said two streets as to constitute an immediate hazard.
Section 4. Right of Way. A person operating a motor vehicle on
Hillsdale Drive shall yield the right of way to a vehicle being operated
on Belair Drive which is entering or approaching so closely to the inter-
section of said two streets as to constitute an immediate hazard.
Section 5. Right of Way. A person operating a motor vehicle on
Willow Drive shall yield the right of way to a vehicle being operated
on Belair Drive which is entering or approaching so closely to the inter-
section of said two streets as to constitute an immediate hazard.
Section 6. Right of Way. A person operating a motor vehicle on
Norris Drive shall yield the right of way to a vehicle being operated on
Hillsdale which is entering or approaching so closely to the intersection
of said two streets as to constitute an immediate hazard.
Section 7. Right of Way. A person operating a motor vehicle on •
Business Route Highway 50 shall yield the right of way to a vehicle being
operated on South Ten Mile Drive which is entering or approaching so
closely to the intersection of said two streets as to constitute an immed-
iate hazard.

Section 8. Right of Way. A person operating a motor vehicle on
the cross road between the east bound lane and west bound lane of U. S.
Highway 50 near its intersection with the access roads leading to Country
Club Drive, Schellridge Road and South Ten Mile Drive, shall yield the
right of way to a vehicle being operated on the eastbound lane or west-
bound lane of U. S. Highway 50 which is entering, or approaching so closely
to, the intersection of said cross road with said eastbound lane or the
westbound lane of U. S. Highway 50 as to constitute an immediate hazard.
Section 9. Right of Way. A person operating a motor vehicle on Taylor
Drive shall yield the right of way to a vehicle being operated on Payne
Drive which is entering or approaching so closely to the intersection of
said two streets as to constitute an immediate hazard.
Section 10. Penalty. Any person violating any of the provisions
of the preceding sections of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a
misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall be fined not more than
$100.00 or be imprisoned in jail for not more than 90 days, or be punished
by both such fine and imprisonment.
Section 11. Effective Date. This ordinance shall take effect and
be in force from and after its passage and approval.
