ORDINANCE NO. 7214
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, CHANGING, AMENDING AND
MODIFYING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS IN-
CORPORATED INTO ORDINANCE NUMBER 5880, BY REZONING CERTAIN SPECIFICALLY
DESCRIBED LAND FROM A DISTRICT "AA" SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE CLASSIFICATION
TO DISTRICT "A-1" SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE CLASSIFICATION.
Whereas, the City Planning and Zoning Commission, after hearing,
study and consideration, recommended to the City Council that the land
hereinafter described should be rezoned from District "AA" Single Family
Residence Classification to District "A-1" Single Family Residence
Classification, and
Whereas, the City Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, by
and through its City Clerk has caused a notice of hearing for the purpose
of rezoning to be published three consecutive days in a newspaper of
general circulation within the City of Jefferson, Missouri, the last day
of publication having been more than fifteen days preceding the date of
the hearing by the City Council, wherein such notice of rezoning all
interested parties were requested to appear before the City Council at the
time and place specified therein for the purpose of attending a public
hearing and expressing their views in support of or in opposition to the
Am recoimnendation of the Planning and Zoning Commission, and
Whereas, the City Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, has
conducted said hearing and heard the views of all persons expressing an
'interest in the rezoning of the land hereinafter described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The zoning map of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, as
incorporated into Ordinance Number 5880 of the city, as amended, is hereby
changed, amended and modified to reflect the rezoning of the following-
described land from "AA" Single Family Residence District to "A-1" Single
Family Residence District and the following-described land is, and it is
hereby accordingly:, rezoned:
"Beginning at the northeast corner of the Northwest
quarter of the southwest quarter of Fractional
Sec, 20, Township 44 North, Range 11 West; thence
south to the northeast corner of L; :f.. rorthwest
quarter of the northwest quarter of Sec. 29, Township 44,
Range 11; thence south along the east line of the north-
west quarter of the northwest quarter of said section,
660 feet; thence west parallel to the north line of said
Section 29 to the west line thereof; thence north to the
corner of Fractional Sections 19 and 20 and Sections 29
and 30; thence north along the section line between
Fractional Sections 19 and 20 to the north line thereof
and the south line of Outlot No. 109; thence east along
the south line of Outlot No. 109 and the north line of
Fractional Section 200 Township 44,, Range 11, to the
point of beginning."
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after .its passage and approval.
