ORDINANCE NO. 299
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, CHANGING, AMENDING AND
MODIFYING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS INCOR-
PORATED INTO ORDINANCE NUMBER 5880, BY REZONING CERTAIN SPECIFICALLY
DESCRIBED LAND FROM DISTRICT "G" COMMERCIAL CLASSIFICATION TO DISTRICT
"H" BUSINESS CLASSIFICATION.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, was
petitioned in writing to rezone land from District "G" Commercial Classi-
fication to District "H" Business Classification, and
WHEREAS, the City Council referred the petition to the City Planning
and Zoning Commission for its consideration, study and recommendation, and
WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Commission, after hearing,
study and consideration, by its report to the City Council, recommended
that the petition should be granted and the property hereinafter described
should be rezoned, and 3
WHEREAS, the City of Jefferson, Missouri has a public hearing Td 8E#Axo
on the 5th day of February, 1968 to hear the views of all interested per-
sons on the issue of whether the recommendation of the Planning and Zoning
Commission should be approved or rejected, after first giving due notice,
in a newspaper of general circulation within the city more than fifteen days
prior to the date of the hearing, of the subject matter, time and place of
the hearing, and inviting all interested persons to appear at the hearing
and be heard, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, has
conducted the hearing and, after hearing the views of all persons express-
ing themselves on the matter and considering the recommendation of the
Planning and Zoning Commission, has concluded that it would be in the public
interest of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, to approve the recommendation
of the Planning and Zoning Commission and rezone the following described
land as hereinafter stated, now therefore:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,, MISSOURI, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The zoning map of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, as
incorporated into' Ordinance Number 58800 as amended, of said city, is

hereby changed, amended and modified to reflect the rezoning of the
following-described property from District "G" Commercial Classification
to District "H" Business Classification, and the following-described
property is, and it is hereby, rezoned accordingly:
"Inlot No. 814 in the City of Jefferson, Missouri."
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its passage and approval.
