�! BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, AS FOLLOWS':
Section 1. That a sidewalk of cement concrete material, Tree
feet in width, 0.5 feet back from face of curb, on the

West side o Broadway Street, between Atchison and l
��ore Streetss F-F aVuRting 75 feet on Broadwa Street

1l within thirty days from service of a copy of this Ordinance on the,
j) owner of the property hereinabove described. g
Section 2. Within two days after the passage of this

ordinance, the City Clerk shall place in the hands of the City
Marshal a certified ropy of this ordinan ce, and said City Marshall'
shall serve or cause to be served a copy of this ordinance on the ll
owner or owners above mentioned, by delivering a copy hereof to
said owner or owners or by leaving it with some member of his �
i( family over the age of 15 years, making his return on another if
copy of said ordinance, which copy shall be filed in the office ofit
the City Clerk.
Section 3. In the event the owner or owners above named
fail to construct said sidewalk as above directed, then the City l
lj of Jefferson, under the cower and authority given it by its
i charter and ordinances, will construct said sidewalk and will
Issue a special tax bill against said proper#y for the cost of
i the construction of said sidewalk, which said special tax bill
l will be a lien against 'the property above described. i
