Hereafter the total compensation to be paid to the elective officials of the City of Jefferson, Missouri,9 for ' the performance of their duties prescribed by law shall be as i follows: I� (a) The Mayor shall receive the sum of Two Hundred �l ($200.00) +Dollars per month. ll; (b) The Marshall shall receive the sum of Three Hundred and Seventy Five ($375.00) Dollars per month. i i (c) The City Attorney shall receive the sun of Three Hundred 0300.00) Dollars per month. (d) The Police Jud e shall receive the sum of Two Hundred and Fifty T$250.00) Dollars per month. (e) The City Treasurer shall receive the sum of Ono Hundred ($100.00) Dollars per month. (f) The City Assessor shall receive fees equal to two- thirds (2/3) of those paid to the County Assessor for the Merchants and Manufacturers lists returned and for i mkking assessments and returns of lists on personal assessments. II (g) The City Collector shall receive as compensation on the annual tax collected the following: j On the first Forty Thousand ($409000.00) Dollars collected, four (4%) per cent. On the second Forty Thousand ($40,000.00) Dollars 11 collected, three (3%) per cent. On all sums collected over and above the sum of Eighty Thousand ($80,000.00) Dollars including delinquent taxes, he shall receive two (2%) per cent. (' In addition to the above, the City Collector shall i receive on all delinquent taxes the sum of four i� (4%) per cent, which sum shall- be added to the f� amount owed by the delinquent taxpayer and shall ,! be paid by the person paying the taxes. `i (h) The City Council shall receive the sum of seventy 1�'ive Ij ($75.00) Dollars per month. The above amounts shall be the total compensation of the aforesaid officials for the performance of their official ! dutieaand ,is in lieu of all salaries and allowances now re- �I ceived by them for the same. Section 3.
