GREEN FEE RECEIPTS: Don Mediey advised that a recommendation on city green fee coiiection had been re'iuested of the committee by individuai counciimen^ The The committee reviewed severai aiternatives, inciuding: 1^ Empioyment of a city cashier to handie green feesi 2^ City empioyment of an auditor to confirm and check receipts 3^ Leasing the entire goif piay operation at a fixed fee. Considerabie discussion ensured reiating to the nature of the prob- iem being soived and issues surrounding each of the aiternatives Listed above* The Committee was unabie to reach a consensus and makes no recommendation. FREE PASSES: The committee reviewed the free pass issue and recommends as foiiows: Foiiuwing industry practice, oniy the foiiowing peopie shouid be issued free goif passes: 1^ Goif Course Superintendent and each member of the city grounds crew for the duration of empioyment/ 2^ The Goif Course Pro and his fuii-time pro -shop assistants (3 persons in 1986)/ Further, the committee recommends that Mr. Drips be permitted to give compiimentary passes for greens fees to P.G.A. prufessionais and members of the Goif Course Superintendent's Association who can certify such memberships. GOALS AND OBJECTIVES: The committee reviewed the proposed Goais and Objectives and asked that the time frame for Goai 3, Objective A (Ciubhouse Architect) be deiayed untii after a ciear direction is given on the construction of the new 9 hoies, perhaps deiaying that activity untii 1987^ With this note, the committee recommends adoption of the Goais and Objectives as presented. TRACTOR: The City Council deferred action on approvai of specifications and caiiinq for bids on a new tractor pending review of the goais and Date 04/09/86 Page 1 objectives and equipment workioad projections. If those are approved, the committee recommends that the Councii proceed with this purchase. SPRING REPAIRS TO CLUBHOUSE: John Drips recommended that the ciubhouse be painted, broken windows repiaced and tiie repaired' and proposed a cost of $2100^ The committee recommends approvai of these maintenance activities and payment from Goif Course contingency fund.
