APPOINTING FULL TIME POLICE OFFICER
PURSUANT TO NJ CIVIL SERVICE REGULATIONS
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Carteret, have formally
authorized the appointment of entry level police officers in accordance with the
provisions of applicable New Jersey State Law and the rules turd policies promulgated by
the New Jersey Civil Service Commission; and
WHEREAS, the Governing Body has implemented the required procedure for said
appointment, has reviewed a list of eligible candidates and wishes to make a full time
police officer appointment in accordance therewith.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Borough of
Carteret that the following individual be appointed as entry level police officer pursuant
to and in accordance wilh the provisions of applicable law:
