BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, k
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Ordinances Numbers 5875, 5876, 5877, 5905, 590 *
5996 and 6019 which prohibited the operator of a motor vehicle
from permittin� the same to be parked for a period of time in
excess of one j) hour within designated areas on various
specifically named streets, and provided a penalty for the

violation thereof, be and the same are hereby repealed.
Section 2. It shall be unlawful for the operator of a mot
vehicle to permit the same to be parked for a period of time in I
excess of one (1) hour, between the hours of 7 :00 a.m. and 7:00 p.n . 0
within the following designated areas on the following named streets:
(5) On the south side of High Street between Marshall
Street and Lafayette Street.
(10) On the south side of High Street within a distance
of forty five (45 ) feet east of the east curb of
Lafayette Street.
(15 ) On the north side of High Street between points
located twenty (20) feet and one hundred and twelve
(112) feet east of the east curb of Adams Street.
(20) On the north side of McCarty Street between two
points located seventy (70) feet and one hundred
and ten (110) feet east of the east curb of Madison
Street.
(25 ) On the south side of Mc(;art,\r Street between two

points located one hundred and sixty three (163 ) and I
one hundred and ninety eight (198) feet west of the
west curb of Jefferson Street.
Section 3 . Anyone violating any of the terms of the precel-
ing section, or any subsection thereof, shall be deemed guilty of
a misdemeanor.
Section 4. This ordinance shall be in force and effect fron
and after its passage and approval.

AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF JEFFERSON MISSOURI, TO
CAUSE THE STREETS, ALLEYS, AVENUES AND PUBLIC JEFFERSON, OF THIS
CITY TO BE SPRINKLED, OILED, REPAIRED, SURFACED AND RESURFACED
WHEN THE COST DOES NOT EXCEED SIXTY CENTS PER FRO14T FOOT PER
ANNUM UPON THE PROPERTY ABUTTING UPON SAID STREET., ALLEY, AVENUE
OR PUBLIC PLACE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSCURIS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council shall have power within the City
of Jefferson, Missouri, in all cases where the cost does not exceedl
sixty cents per front foot per annum upon the property abutting
upon any street, avenue, alley or public place to be improved as
in this section hereinafter provided, to cause the streets, alleys,
avenues and public places of this city, or any part thereof, to be
sprinkled., oiled repaired, surfaced or resurfaced and the cost
