IiAn Ordinance Repealing Ordinance Number 3211 which designated
the Building Inspector as Ex-Officio Sewer Commissioner, and
; Repealing Ordinance Number 3322 which designated the city Marshall
!' as Ex-Officio Sewer Commissioner, and enacting an Ordinance
creating the office of Sewer Commissioner, and providing that the
, Plumbing Inspector shall be designated the Sewer Commissioner in
this city.
' BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Ordinances Numbers 3211 and 3322 of the City of
Jefferson, Missouri, which designated the Building Inspector and
the City Marshall respectively as the Ex-Officio Sewer Commissioner
of this city, be and the same are hereby repealed.
Section 2. Sewer Commissioner. There is hereby created the
loffice of sewer 'commissioner or-the City of Jefferson, and the
plumbing inspector of said city is hereby designated ex-officio
sewer commissioner. The sewer commissioner shall perform all
duties as prescribed in the chapter on sewers.
Section 3 . This ordinance shall be in force and effect from
and after its passage and approval.

An Ordinance Amending Section 1 of Ordinance Number 11.201 (also
being Section 195 of the Revised Ordinances of the City of
Jefferson, Missouri, of 1941) pertaining to the sale of fireworks,
blank cartridges, toy pistols, cannon or device in which explos-
ives are used, firecrackers, torpedoes, roman candles, aerial
salutes, pyrotechnic display devices or bombs, by deleting the
phrase "toy pistols" and repealing Ordinance Number 5213 of this
city authorizing the sale of "toy pistols."
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 1. of Ordinance Number 4201 (also being
Section 195 of the Revised Ordinances of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, of 194.1) is hereby amended to read as follows:
Section 195 . Sale of fireworks prohibited. It shall be
unlawful within the City of Jefferson for any person, firm or
corporation to sell, offer for sale, expose for sale, use, dis-
charge or explode any fireworks, blank cartridge, cannon or device
in which explosives are used, firecrackers, torpedoes, roman candle ,
aerial salutes; pyrotechnic display devices or bombs.
Section 2. Ordinance number 5213 of this City which
authorized the sale of "toy pistols" be and the same is hereby
repealed.
Section 3 . This ordinance shall be in force and effect from
and after its passage and approval.
