Pursuant to Section 3 of Executive Order N-29-20, issued by Governor Newson on
March 17, 2020, cities are allowed to hold City Council meetings via teleconferencing
and members of the public can observe and address the meeting telephonically or
electronically.

• AGENDA ITEM: at the time the Council considers the agenda item;
• NON-AGENDA ITEM: at the time for PUBLIC COMMENTS. Please note that while
the City Council values your comments, pursuant to the Brown Act, the Council cannot
take action on any item not listed on the agenda;
• PUBLIC HEARING: at the time for public hearings under PUBLIC HEARING.
PUBLIC COMMENT CAN BE MADE BY FOLLOWING THE PROTOCOLS BELOW:
Telephonically by calling 1-669-900-6833, Access Code 811-1858-2184, Passcode
788155. Your microphone will be unmuted during one of the comment period outlined
above. Please request to be added to the speaker list and you will be called upon to
make a comment; or
Email comments to cityclerk@templecity.us and identify the item you wish to
comment in the subject line. Emails will be accepted after the start of the meeting
and before the Mayor closes public comment at the end of the meeting. Emailed
comments will be read aloud by the City Clerk for up to three minutes.

The City Council will now hear public comments regarding items not listed on the
agenda. The procedure to address the City Council is highlighted on the f irst
page of this agenda. This section is limited to 30 minutes total.
4. NEW BUSINESS
A. FISCAL YEAR 2021-2022 PROPOSED ANNUAL BUDGET
The proposed budget for Fiscal Year 2021-2022 focuses on creating a roadmap for
maintaining the financial stability of the community into the future while balancing
current needs.
Presenter: Administrative Services Director
Recommendation: Provide direction to staff regarding the
proposed budget.

business of this Agenda are available for viewing on the City’s website at
www.templecity.us and are on f ile in the Office of the City Clerk located at City
Hall, 9701 Las Tunas Drive, Temple City, California, and available for review during
regular office hours. W ritten documentation submitted to the City Council after
distribution of the agenda packet can be obtained at the City Clerk’s Office during
regular office hours.
