AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING ANY POLICE OFFICER OF THIS
CITY TO HAVE ANY MOTOR VEHICLE WHICH IS PARKED IN VIOLATION OF
ANY TRAFFIC OR PARKING ORDINANCE OF THIS CITY TOWED AWAY AT THE
EXPENSE OF THE OPERATOR AND/OR OWNER OF SAID VEHICLE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The police officers of this city are hereby
authorized and directed to have any motor vehicle parked on the
streets, avenues, alleys or public highways of this city, in
violation of any traffic or parking ordinance of this city, towed
or hauled away by a towing truck of any person, firm, association
or corporation engaged in the towing business,
Section 2 . The expense or charge for the towing away of
any motor vehicle parked in violation of any traffic• or parking
ordinance of this city shall be borne and paid for by the owner
and/or operator of the saie motor vehicle.
Section 3 . This ordinance shall be in force and effect
from and after its passage and approval.

An Ordinance levying and assessing a special tax against each lot
or piece of ground lying between and situate within the bounds of
Sewer District No. 50 "A" in the City of Jefferson, Missouri, in
the name of the owner or owners thereof for constructing and
completing sewers therein.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: It appearing from the written report of the City
Engineer, the officer in charge of the work of construction and
completing sewers, in Sewer District No. 50"A", in the City of
Jefferson, Missouri, heretofore submitted by said officer td the
City Council and approved and filed by it on this 1st day of
August, 1955, at a regular meeting of the City Council held on
this date, that the total cost of construction and completing of
said sewer as constructed, amounts to the sum of $2004.80, and it
further appearing that said report of said officer did apportion
said costs against the several losts or pieces of ground in said
Sewer District No. 50 "A", exclusive of streets in proportion to
the area of the whole of said District No. 5.0 "A" exclusive of the
public highways, and it further appearing that the total number of
square feet contained in the aggregate number of lots and pieces
of ground situated in the said Sewer District No. 50110, exclusive
of the public highways therein amounts to 106,1$$.0 square feet. 1
And it further appearing from the said report that on proper
apportionment of said costs such lots or pieces of ground in said
Sewer District No. 50"A", so situated, each square foot of ground
contained in said lots or pieces of ground in said Sewer District
No. 50110 is chargeable with the sum of $0.01$$$ per square foot.

Now,, therefore for the purpose of paying for the work of
construction and completion of sewers in said Sewer District No.
50"All together with all necessary laterals, inlet.90 catch basins, f1
manholes,, and other necessary appurtenances thereto appertaining
there is hereby levied and assessed against the several and herein- i
after described lots or pieces of ground within the bounds of said
Sewer District No. 50"A".9 situated in the name of the respective
name of the owner or owners of said lots or pi6ces of ground, a
special tax at the rate of .1,',0.01888 per square foot for each and
every square foot of ground so situated as aforesaid.
SECTION 2. Each of the lots or pieces of ground so mentioned
and referred to in Section 1 of this Ordinance, against which a
special tax bill is specified in Section 1 of this ordinance is
levied and assessed and the same is hereby levied and assessed and
the description of said lots or pieces of ground and the name of
the owner or owners thereof in which the tax is levied and assessed
and the cost per square foot and the amount assessed each lot or
piece of ground in said Sewer District No- 50110 situated in the
name of the owner or owners thereof, the number of square feet
owned by each property holder in the lots or pieces of ground
owned by each owner in said Sewer District No. 5011AII is as follows:
MARGARET M. DULLE & MARY K. KOHLMAN, owners of a part of the
Southeast quarter Section 35 Township 45 Range 12, fronting 392
feet on the Boonville Road and running back easterly 125 feet.
The south line co-inciding with the north line of a 25 foot
street on the north side of Sunset Place Addition.
Assessment 47,000.0 sq.ft. @ 110.01888 Cost $887-36
WALTER A. & ERLINE B. SWEARENGEN, owners of a part of the Southeast '
quarter of Section 35 Township 45 Range 12, fronting 70.3 feet
on the Boonville Road and running back west 125 feet the south
line co-inciding with the south line of Section 35.

PAUL J. & EDNA C. WACHTER, owners of a part of the Southeast quartef
of Section 35 Township 45 Range 12, fronting 55 feet on the Boon-
ville Road and the south line of property at the Boonville Road
lying 70.3 feet north of the south line of said section and
running South 70 degrees and 15 minutes West, 125.0 feet

section and running South 68 degrees and 45 minutes West, 125 .0
feet.

Boonville Road and the south line of property at the Boonville
Road lying 441.3 feet north of the south line of said section
and running South 64 degrees W,,st, 125 .0 feet.
