SECTION 3 . The City Clerk is hereby instructed to proceed 1!
j at once to make out special tax bills under the seal of the City
of Jefferson, Missouri, of the aforesaid amounts against said lots
or pieces of land in the aforesaid Sewer District No. 50 "Alf
situated, mentioned and described in the heretofore mentioned sec- �
tions of this Ordinance in the name of the owner or owners thereof,'
which said special and certified tax bills shall be signed by the
Mayor and attested and recorded by the City Clerk and delivered to
HUNTER BROS. CONSTRUCTION COMPANYp The contractor of the work of
construction of the aforesaid sewers as provided and required by
the Charter of the City of Jefferson and the Ordinances authorizing
and ordering the construction of sewers in said Sewer District
No. 50"A", heretofore passed and approved by the Council.
SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force
I from and after its passage and approval.

An ordinance levying and assessing a special tax bill against the
lots' or tracks of land fronting or abutting on the roadway of
Cottage Lane in the City of Jefferson, Missouri, for the improvement
of the said roadway by grading, curbing and guttering and paving
with portland cement concrete .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. There is hereby levied and assessed at the rate
and cost price per front foot as specified in Section 2 of this
( ordinance, against the aggregate lots or tracts of land fronting or
abutting on the roadway of Cottage Lane, from the east curb line
of Houchin Street to the center of Gordon Street in the City of
Jefferson, Missouri for the improvement of the roadway Cottage
Lane aforesaid, including such grading as may be necessary for the
reception of a cement sidewalk, the sum of $2601.45 as the total
costs of the improvement of said street and the number of front
feet fronting or abutting said roadway of said Cottage Lane afore-
said, between the aforesaid streets amount to 3$5 .4, running feet;
the cost price per running foot is i,6.75 .
Section 2. For the purpose of paying said improvement of said
roadway of Cottage Lane, from the east curb line of Houchin Street
to -the center of Gordon Street there is hereby levied and assessed
the sum of $6.75 as a special tax against each front foot of ground
fronting or abutting said roadway of Cottage Lane street between
the aforesaid streets, and contained in such lot or piece of ground
fronting or abutting said improved roadway of said Cottage Lane,
from the east curb line of Houchin Street to the center of Gordon
Street
