!BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, AS FOLLOWS: �

Section 1. There is hereby levied and assessed at the rate
and cost price per front foot as specified in Section 2, qf this
ordinance, against the aggregate lots or tracts of land fronting
for abutting on the roadway of Beck Street, between St. Mary's
(Boulevard and U. S. Highway No. 50 in the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, for the improvement of the roadway Beck street aforesaid,
including such grading as may be necessary for the reception of a
cement sidewalk, the sum of $13 ,549.95 as the total costs of the
improvement of said street and the number of front feet fronting
or abutting said roadway of said Beck street aforesaid, between the
,aforesaid streets amount to x;42.38, running feet; the cost
price per running foot is ; 9.52625 •
Section 2. For the purpose of paying said improvement of
!said roadway of Beck Street, between St. Oary's Boulevard and
iIU. S Highway No. 50 there is hereby levied and assessed the sum
of $' . -52 25 as a special tax against front foot of ground fronting
or abuttin g said roadway of Beck street between the aforesaid
,Istreets, and contained in such lot or piece of ground fronting
Ior abutting said improved roadway of said Beck Street, between
Mary's Boulevard and U. S. Highway No. 50
I� Section 3. The name of each property owner or owners and the
!Idescription of each lot or piece of ground fronting or abutting on
leach side of Beck street between St. Mary's Boulevard and U. S.
'Highway No. 50 and the number of front feet owned by each owner or
!owners and contained in the lots or tracts of land so owned and
abutting said block or street between the aforesaid streets and the
cost price per front foot for said improvement and the amount hereby
levied and assessed as a special tax for said improvement against
leach lot or piece of ground fronting or abutting said Beck street
for the roadway from the center of the intersection of Beck street
�.nd St. Mary's Boulevard to the center of the intersection of Beck
;!Street and north edge of the pavement on U. S. Highway No. 50..
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby instructed to make

Construction Co. for the within mentioned work in accordance with
the ordinances of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, relative to
!!said kind of work and in accordance with the Charter of said City
