Section 3 . This Ordinance shall be in force and effect from
and after its passage and approval.

An Ordinance Repealing Ordinance Number 273$ Article XI, Sections
1-8 inclusive, relating to grades, said sections now appearing as
Sections 7$$-795 of the Revised Ordinances of the City of Jefferso
of 1941, and enacting an ordinance pertaining to the same subject
matter.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Ordinance Number 2738, Article XI, Sections 1-8
inclusive, relating to grades of streets in this city, and now
appearing as Section 7$8-795 inclusive of the Revised Ordinances
of the City of Jefferson of 1941, be and the same are hereby
repealed.
Section 2. Grades established how. The grades of all public
streets and alleys within the City of Jefferson shall be establish d
by ordinance duly passed by the City Council and recorded in the
ordinance books of said city. Said ordinance shall record all
elevations along the center line of said street or alley, showing
the elevation at each point where there is a change of grade and
the distance between said points. All elevations of grade shall
be established from the new directrix or bench mark as provided
for in the ordinances of this city.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in force and effect from
and after its passage and approval.
