BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF TBE CITY OF JEFFERSON, AS FOLLOWS; ;
f Section 1. 'There is hereby levied and assessed at the rate a d

nance, against the aggregate lots or tracts of land fronting or j
abutting on the roadway of Clarke Avenue from the north line of
Miller Street. north to the alley9 in the ity of Jefferson, M ssAu i
for hhe improvement of the roadway Clarke Avenue
aforesaid, including such grading as may be necessary for the re-
ception of a cement sidewalk, the sum of 1612.50 as the total
costs of the improvement of said street and the number of front
feet fronting or abutting said roadway of said Clarke Avenue
aforesaid, between the aforesaid streets amounts to 457.0 �

jSection 2. For the purpose of paying said improvement of sail
