description of each lot or piece of ground fronting or abutting on
each side of Clarke Avenue from Miller Street to Elm Street
and the number of front feet owned by each owner or owners and con-.
twined in the lots or tracts of land so owned and abutting said
block or street between the aforesaid streets and the Bost price
per front foot for said improvement and the amount horoby lovied
and assessed as a special tax for said improvement against each lotjor
piece of ground fronting or abutting said Clarke Avenue from Miller;;
Street to Elm Street
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby instructed to make qut
special tax bills in favor of the contra for Schell Construction
Company for the within mentioned work In accor ante with '
the Charter of said City in regard to said work.

Section 5. This ordinance shall be in force from and after
its passage and approval.

LOTS OR TRACKS OF LAND FRONTING ON THE ROADWAY OF CLARKE AVENUE
FROM ELim STREET SOUTH IN THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,
FOR THE IMPROVEME14 OF' THE SAID ROADWAY BY GRADING AiZ PAVING
WITH A5k'HALT MACADAM.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, AS FOLLOWS; ;
Section 1. There is hereby lwvied and assessed at the rate
and cost price per front foot as specified in Section 2 of this
ordinance, against the aggregate lots or tracts of land fronting
or abutting on the roadway of Clarke Avenue, from Elm Street out
in the City of Jefferson, Missouri, for the improvement of the road� ay
aforesaid, including such grading as may be necessary for the re-
ception of a cement sidewalk, the sum of $ 773.30 as the total
costs of the improvement of said street an3Tie number of front fee
fronting or abutting said roadway of said Clare Avbnuet aforesaid,
between the aforesaid streets amount of 458.0 , running feet;
the cost price 3er running foot is $ 1.6884
Section 2. For the purpose of paying said improvement of said
roadway of Clarke Avenue from Elm Street south
CATHERINE REHAGEN' owner of the east 140 feet of lots 92 and 93 and
a part of lot 04 of Fairview addition, fronting 52. 625 feet on
Clarke Avenue and running back westerly 140 feet. The north line
co-inciding with the north line of lot 92.

Addition, fronting 51.25 feet on Clarke Avenue and running back
