Sewer District No. 98 in the City of Jefferson,M4saouri,
in the name of the owner or owners thereof for constru^ting and
completing sewers therein.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE C')UNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, VISSOURI,
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. It appearing from the written report of the Cit'
Engineer, the officer in charge of the work of construction a:dd I
completing sewers, in Sewer District 1b. 98 , in the City ofll
Jefferson, Missouri, heretofore submitted bysaid officer to the
City Council and approved and filed by it on this , 5th day i
Dec. , 1955, at a regular meeting of the City M—ouncil
hid on this date, that the total cost of con truction and cam-
pleting of said sewer as constructed, amounts to the sum o£$
4196.75 , and it further appearing that said report of said
officer did approtion saidoosts against the several lots or piece ,
of ground in said Sewer District No. 98 , exclusive of i''
streets in proportion to the area of the whole of said District Nth.
98 exclusive of the public highways, and it further I
appearing that the total number of square feet contained to the
aggregate number of lots and nieces of ground situated in the
said Sewer District No. 98 , exlusive of the public highways ,
]hberein amounts of 317, 5 square feet. And it further �I
appearing from said report that on proper apportionment of said
coats such lots or pieces of ground in said Sewer District No. 98
so situated, each square foot of ground contained in said lots or
pieces of ground in said Sewer District No. 98 is crarge-
able with the sum of $ 0.01323 per square foot.
Now, therefore, for the purpose of paying for the work of
construction and completion of sewers in said Sewer -District No.
98 together with all necessary laterals, inlets, catch (�
babtsn, manholes, and other necessary ap,)urtenances theretio
appertaining, there is hereby levied and assessed against the
several and hereinafter described lots or pieces pf ground within)
the bounds of said Sewer District No. 98 , situated in the
mane of the respective name of the owner or owners of said lots
or pieces of ground, a special tax ht the rate of $ 0.01323
per square foot for each and every square foot of ground so situated
as aforesaid,

SECTION 2. Each of the lots or pieces of ground so mention d
and referred to in Section 1 of this Ordinance, against which a
special tax is specified in Section 1 of this Ordinance is levied;
and assessed and the same is hereby levied and assessed and the �I
description of said lots or pieces of ground and the anme of the
owner or owners thereof in which the tax is levied and assessed li
and the cost per square foot and the amoijnt assessed each lot or
piece of ground in said Sewer District N .98 situated in the
name of the owner of owners thereof, the number of square feet
owned by each property holder in the lots or pieces of ground
owned by each owner in said Sewer District N0. 98 is as follow:
