AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCE NUMBERS 61.31 AND 6162 OF THE
CITN' OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, PROHIBITING TFE OP7T-ATORS OF A MOTOR 'I
VEHICLE FROM PERMITTING THE SAME TO BE 'tPKED WITHIN SPECIFICALLY
DESIGNATED STREETS AND HIGHWAYS, AND PROVIDING A PENALTY, AND
ENACTING AN ORDINANCE PERTAINING TO THE SAME SU9J1-1,CT, AND PRO.-
VrDTNG A PENALTY.
BE TT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Ordinances Numbers 6131 and 6162 of the City
of Jefferson, Missouri , which prohibited the operator of a motor
vehicle from permitting the same to be parked within specifically
designate areas on specifically designated streets and highwa7s,
and providing a penalty, be and the same ire hereby repealed. fI
Section 2. t'arking prohibited where. It shall be unlawful
for the pperator of a motor vehicle to oerrrit the same to be parke
within the following specifically designated areas on the followin,
named streets:
(5) On the south side of Capitol Avenue within a
distance of fifty (50) feet west of the west curb
of Linn St.
(10)On the north side of Capitol Avenue within a distance
of fifty eight (58) feet west of the west curb of Ift
St.
(15)On the north side of Capitol Avenue within a distance
of one hundred and eighty (lBO) feet east of the east
curb of Linn St.
(20)On the north side of Capitol Avenue between tke point�
located fourteen t14) feet and fifty four (54) feet
west of the west curb line of Adams Street.
(25)On the west side of Clark Avenue within a distance of
seventy five (75) feet south of the south curb of Me-
Carty St.
(30)On the north side of HiE:b Street within a distance of
three hundred and ten (310) feet west of the western
end of the new viaduct.
(35)On the north side of High Street between two points
located seventy three (73) feet and one hundred and.
twenty five (125) feet east of the east curb of
Chestnut Street.
(40) On the south side of High Stre- t within a distance
of one hundred and twenty four (124 ) feet east of
the east curb If Havana Street.
(45) On the south side of High Street between two points
located one hundred forty eight (148 ) feet and one
hundred sixty four (164 ) feet east of the east curb
of Marshall Street.
(5 0) On the west side of Jefferson Street within a distan 6
of eighteen (18) feet south of the alley lying soiith
of High Street and running parallel to and lying in
between High Street and McCprty Street.
(55) On the west side of Johnson Street between two point
located two hundred and sixty six (266) feet and thr e
hundred and sixteen (316) feet north of the north
edge of Hough Street.
(60) Un the north side of Main Street within the one
hundred (100) foot distance between the driveway
entrance to the establishment, on the northeast
corner of the intersection of Main Street and J''oonvi±le
Road.
