ESTABLISFTING TF-?E SALARIES OF ELECTIVE OFFICIALS, APPOINTIVE
OFFICIALS ANTD APPOINTIVE El','PLOYEES OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AND EFACTING A ' EW ORDINANCE PERTAI:,71 TG TO THE SAME
SUBJECT.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF' TFE; CITY CF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS;
i
Section 1. Ordinances 6040 and 6240 of the City of Jeffer-
son, N, ssouri, establishing the salaries of elective officials,
appointive officials and appointive employees of the City of
Jefferson, Missouri , be and the same are hereby repealed.
Section 2. Compensation of elective officials. Hereafter th
total compensation to be paid the the elective officials of the i
City of Jefferson, Missouri, for the nerforma.nce of their duties
prescribed by law shall be as follows:
1a ) The Mayor shall receive the sum of Two Hundred ($200.00) i
Dollars per month.
(b) The PLarshgll shall receive the slim of Three Nvndred and
Seventy five (375.00) Dollars ner. rronth.
(c ) The City Attorney shall rece ve the sum of Three F-Fundred
($300.00) Dollars ner month.
(d) The Police Judge shall receive the sum of Two H.indred
and Fifty 0'250. 001 V- ollars per month.
(e ) The City Treasurer shall receive the size of One HI ndred �)
0100. 00 Dollars ner month.
(f ) The City Assessor shall receive fees equal to tero''thirds
(2/3) of those naid to tbnCounty Assessor for the
merchants and n anufacturer 's lists returned :.�:.d for
making assessments and returns of lists on personal
property.
(g) The City? Collector shall receive as com=pensation on the
annual tax col.lrcted the following:
On the first Forty Thousand (;7,40,000. 00) Dollars
collected, four (4f) per cent.
On the second Forty Thousand ($40, 000. 00) Dollars
collected, three (3%) Pgr cent. l
On all sums collected over and •bove -the sum of
Eighty Thousand ($80,000.00) Dolls rs includ3.ng
delinquent taxers, he sbsll receive two (2;") ner cent.
