PLANNING COIv`TassiON MEETING OF JANUARY 15,1962
Meeting called to order at g PM.
Allen members present.
Marvin Maxwell and William Bills representing the Medina Morningside
develppment presented a preliminary plat of proposed first addition
to Pedina Moringside plat. Archie Carter Village engineer has
XIM# inspected the proposed addition and recommends approval.
Motion by Ella Christensen to approve preliminary plat of
Medina Morningside, 1st addition, second by Gerald Dykhoff,
motion carried.
Mr. Maxwell of Medina Morningside informed the planning commission
that the corporation has purchased 10 acres of land southwest of
the present plat for . proPable future development.
A lengthy discussinn of the terms of planning commission members
was held and the following plan was resolved,
2 members agreeded to resixgn as of March 1, 1962, and 1 member to
resign each year thereafter, it was also suggested that members
be appointed from representative parts of the village.
Motion by Gerald Dykhoff to appoint Ella Christensen as a member
of the West Hennepin Joint Planning Commission, Second by Herb Gaspar,
motion carried.
Clarification tk of the outside drain,gage code of the ordinance was
discussed, it was agreeded that Archie Carter and Gerald Dykhoff
will present specidications of sewage disposal systems at the
February council meeting.
Motion by EllaX Christensen to adjourn,
second by Alex Shhumacher, motion carried.
